Handicapped Access Sidewalks
On the left: Accessible ramp to the sanctuary.
On the right: Thank you to all who organized and donated to have an accessibility ramp installed at the pantry. It is important that everyone has 
access to healthy, diverse foods; and thanks to your compassion and generosity, we are one large step closer to making that happen. We appreciate you and all of the support.
Renovations to the First-Floor Bathroom and the Kitchenette
B&G is very happy to report that the renovations to the first-floor bathroom and the kitchenette in the Hale Building are finished!! Everything is functional, clean and attractive.
B&G also contracted to repair the walls of the front steps and replaced four sidewalk sections that were a tripping hazard. Not pictured, they are also repairing water damage behind the wall of the minister’s office. Other improvements have been the upgrading of the sanctuary chandeliers to LEDs, improving the air filtration systems in the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall, and continuing to maintain the playground and garth.
Wheelchair Lift and Accessible Restroom
March 10, 2015. The lift and surrounding closets and woodwork have been completed as has the right-hand restroom outside Fellowship Hall. The doorway of the restroom has been widened to accommodate a wheelchair and push-pad activated openers have been installed. Motion sensing light switches have been connected in both restrooms as well.
Glass Entry Doors
Glass doors open up the sanctuary. Two sets of clear glass doors have been installed to enlarge the entry way and open the visual space to the sanctuary.
Fellowship Hall Kitchen
The kitchen has been completely renovated including all new cabinets & countertops, industrial venting for the 8-burner stove, new refrigerator and dishwasher.
Sanctuary Audio/Visual System
The Sunday services have been enhanced following the installation of the Audio/Visual System. The system also allows the church to provide a video library of the sermons and live-streaming of the whole service to shut-in members and friends. There are monthly movie screenings and video adult-learning activities as well.
Storm Windows
Interior storm windows have been installed on all the windows in Hale Hall, the adminitrative offices and in Fellowship Hall replacing the plastic sheeting that had to be replaced every fall.
